A Passion for History

The Town of Hingham, Massachusetts, played a notable role in the American Revolution – perhaps most famously as the hometown of Major General Benjamin Lincoln, who accepted the British surrender at Yorktown. In 2025 and 2026, we will commemorate the history of the Revolution and our town’s part in it.
