DESCRIPTION:Kickoff your Independence Day at Hingham’s 67th Annual Road Race!  Organized by the Hingham Recreation Commission\, this 67th annual running is a family-friendly tradition. \nThe 4.47 mile event starts at Hingham Middle School (1103 Main Street)\, follows a course tracking the town’s historic neighborhoods\, and ends in Hingham Square. \nEntry fee: \n\nThrough Friday\, July 3 – $35 (nonrefundable)  and includes a a Road Race T shirt.  Register online in advance\n$40 on Race Day\n\nParking available at the Middle School or the Station Street parking lot.  Shuttle bus service is available before and after the event. \nFor more details\, download the registration form.

DESCRIPTION:Join Hingham’s July 4 celebration of America’s independence!  Our privately-funded July 4 parade has become the town’s most anticipated and best attended annual event\, with a rich history matching the town it celebrates. \nThe parade kicks off at 10:00 AM\, rain or shine\, starting at the intersections of Middle and Pleasant Streets.  Excellent viewing opportunities are available throughout the route\, along Middle and Main Streets to Hingham Square and South Streets.  The parade will end at approximately 11:15 AM\, terminating at the Station Street parking lot.  For more detail on the parade route\, parade day detours\, and parking\, visit the Parade Route web page.
