DESCRIPTION:Gather at Hingham Harbor for All American Picnic and Dance Party on Thursday\, July 2\, 2026.  Hosted at the Hingham Bathing Beach\, this family-friendly evening is presented by the Town’s Harbor Development Committee in partnership with the Hingham Historical Society. Festivities begin at 3:00 PM with a variety of kids activities.  Food trucks arrive at 5:00 PM\, located near the Victory (Iron Horse) Statue at the Beach House at the Bathing Beach\, which will have extended hours for the event.  At 7:00 PM\, crowd favorite Booty Vortex takes the stage at the harbor bandstand to lead a free community dance party! \nParking is available at the Bathing Beach parking lot and the Station Street parking lot.

SUMMARY:Sail Boston's Parade of Sail 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Grand Parade of Sail will highlight the day’s activities as vessels parade in flotillas from Broad Sound into the main channel of Boston Harbor turning at Charlestown\, before proceeding to their assigned berthing areas. Public viewing of the parade will bbe spectacular from many shoreside sites\, including Castle Island\, the Seaport District\, the Boston Waterfront\, East Boston\, the North End\, and Charlestown.  For more on viewing options\, see Sail Boston’s Interactive Harbor Map. \nOn Saturday July 11th\, the MBTA is offering special ferry service from Hingham to Spectacle Island.  Tickets can be purchased exclusively at the Hingham ticket office (28 Shipyard Dr\, Hingham\, MA 02043) weekdays 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM and weekends 8:00 AM to 9:009 PM while supplies last.  Riders must specify what time they will depart from Hingham and what return trip they intend to take from Spectacle Island.  Passengers will be expected to pass through securing prior to boarding the ferry.  For prices\, schedule and more information\, see MBTA’s press release. \nOn this day\, all regular commuter ferry service will be suspended.  A special ferry schedule will restore Hingham service after 5:00 PM. \nThe Parade of Sail kicks off a week of events including public boarding of ships\, the Sail Boston Festival\, and fireworks on July 11 and July 15.  For more\, see Sail Boston’s Schedule of  Events web page.
